I grew up in the Atlanta suburbs, the youngest in a family that spends much of its time arguing politics. My first involvement was in internship with Republican Representative John Linder during high school. Linder is the only Republican or Democrat I have ever voted for, however, as I decided on the Libertarian Party around age 16.

In 2002 I moved to Gainesville to attend the University of Florida and, within a year, became vice-chairman of the Alachua County Libertarian Party. Shortly after the 2004 LPF convention I founded the University of Florida College Libertarians and am currently serving as President.

Like many in the LFC, I believe that the LP could go a long way toward creating a message that appeals to the general public. I'd like to do what I can to instill in the younger generation of members the idea that such a goal is viable.
