Greetings all! I am Tyler Kushera and have the pleasure of being the Regional Coordinator for Region 2.

I presently work on the New York trading desk at a hedge fund/private asset management firm that deals mostly with fund-a-funds and wealthy individuals. I came by way of Texas and Texas A&M where I got to read the biting commentary of Donny Ferguson (Region 3 Coordinator) in the school newspaper. I came to NY specifically to work on Wall Street and watch all of the invisible hands (re)organize the chaos of the city.

I can't recall when I first became a libertarian but I do recall one of the first times I said it aloud to people other than my immediate family. I was in high school and upon stating "I am a Libertarian" a fellow student asked, "Aren't they way to the right of Republicans?" to which the teacher sheepishly responded in the affirmative. Ever since then, I've realized the misguided perception many people have of us. We MUST change this.

I want to thank Dr. Stevens for all the work he already put into the group and getting all the wonderfully talented individuals on board. I am looking forward to working with everyone and am genuinely excited about the future of this organization.
