RESOLUTION
: to adopt the following Final Proposed Goals

as the formal purposes and goals of the Libertarian

Freedom Council:

1. To recruit, endorse and promote the candidacies of
charismatic, intelligent, and attractive individuals
to run for elective office as Libertarians;

2. To write and work for the adoption of a new proposed
platform for the Libertarian Party that will set forth
the core ethical and moral principles of libertarian
philosophical thought without going into specific
detail regarding the application of those principles
and their effect on public policy;

3. To lobby for the elimination of the requirement
that prospective members be required to sign the
Oath as a prerequisite for membership in the
Libertarian Party replacing it with an Affirmation
that the applicant for LP membership is in general
agreement with the core ethical and moral principles
of libertarian philosophical thought;

4. To welcome within our ranks all libertarian and
libertarian-leaning individuals who are willing to
work within the structure of the Libertarian Freedom
Council to promote liberty and to help make the
Libertarian Party a more viable political entity;

5. To encourage young professionals, students and
entrepreneurs who consider themselves libertarian to
develop their leadership potential and understanding
of libertarian principles;

6. To educate the public about libertarianism
presenting them with a positive image of libertarian
philosophy and of libertarians in general;

7. To feature on our website articles, links,
information and news about libertarianism and
the Libertarian Party;

8. To provide our endorsement to candidates running for
office so long as those candidates agree to work for the
adoption of issues of concern to us and agree to mention
our endorsement on their campaign literature and at
their website;

9. To support the efforts of students and faculty members
to organize successful libertarian organizations on their
respective campuses;

10. To offer managerial skills, leadership, and staff
to libertarian organizations, groups, and entities in
need of such support services;

11. To liaison with libertarian, capitalist, secessionist,
nationalist, and freedom oriented political parties,
organizations and movements throughout the world with
the goal of organizing an umbrella organization containing
such groups that will help them organize conferences,
discover common ground and support each others' efforts;
and

political organization run in accordance with the
leadership principle and committed to bringing together
its members in the spirit of cooperation, friendship,
